You'll find Birds Restaurant in the heart of LA's most historic district, nestling below the Hollywood sign. We've been a Los Angeles landmark since 1994, serving great food in a unique atmosphere, immortalized in fiction (Michael Connelly's 2006 bestseller Echo Park) and namechecked in all major local guidebooks. If you live in the neighborhood, you'll know us. If you don't, then come along and take a look. New faces and old friends are welcome.

If Birds hasn't been part of your Hollywood experience before now, make that change! Whether you want a sunny patio seat to while away the afternoon, or a booth to kick back in for the evening, Birds is the place to be.

Come alone or bring your friends. Animals are welcome on our patio, and we have a special doggie menu (chicken $2). A percentage of our profits goes to supporting animal welfare projects in the Los Angeles area - ask us to show you the pictures of the dogs and cats we've saved, or check out the Bird-Dog Rescue page elsewhere on this site.
